early 2007 supperclub launched a new compilation series: supperclub ninesins. supperclub arrogance is the second album in this series. to make the supperclub double cd even more desirable in this i-pod age, each time a dj/producer and an artist are invited to use their creative talents to produce the music and a work of art. this time dj mark robijn was responsible for the music selection and illustrator mr. pen designed the album cover. the first 10.000 copies will be released as a ravishing limited edition digipack in a luxurious slipcase. reprints will be in double jewel format with a slipcase. mark robijn, resident dj of supperclub amsterdam is known for his eclectic selection of music. wherever he plays, he combines a large variety of music. he made his fame dropping tracks from the rock group the cult in the middle of a chill out set on ibiza. for cd one he created a warm and profound mix of atmospheric and nebulous sounds. on cd two he experiments with more minimalistic sounds. the result is amazing.
