With his Voltage EP (2004), Cyril Theevenard founds the musical identity of John
Lord Fonda. But his first
album Debaser, released on Citizen Records in 2006, definitely establishes his
style. Hyped up with rock
and rave culture, this warmly welcome album sends him on tour for several
months.
On stage, John Lord Fonda re-creates his live every night, including from time
to time a hit from the Beastie
Boys or Donna Summer in his set. This allows him to play with these tracks and
to glorify them in another
way. The seeds of Composite are planted and will become, later on, an amazing
tangle of live bootlegs.

Composite is a restitution of this scenic project undergoing constant mutation,
evolving depending on the
artistÆs wishes. Along the 55 minutes of this mix, John Lord Fonda reveals
without restraint his musical
universe, demanding but open, knowing how to conjugate with refinement
classical, hip-hop and electronic
music.
