The Stranglers wearing suits and ties, performing at the Royal Albert Hall, in front of a 18 piece all female string orchestra -can this possibly work. The answer is unquestionably YES.
This is a very enjoyable DVD, with excellent standard of photography, so you really feel like you're at the gig. The music is a nice blend of old classics, and stuff that was new to me. Of the oldies Down in the Sewer is the highlight, with front man Paul doing a very passable rat impression!
