Û± Forming seven years ago, THE RED CHORD is a ±Û
Û± grind-hardcore band from the north shore area of ±Û
Û± Massachusetts whose collective goal is to push the ±Û

Û± drummer Brad in late 2004 and began to finalize the ±Û
Û± material for their first release - "Clients" - on Metal ±Û

Û± THE RED CHORD has been cited as one of the most ±Û
Û± influential crossover bands of the hardcore, grind and ±Û
Û± metal genres. They have been referenced, featured or ±Û
Û± interviewed in the majority of pertinent heavy music ±Û
Û± periodicals including Revolver, AP, Metal Hammer, ±Û

Û± to pay taxes because he cited his job as being some ±Û
Û± sort of guy whose sole purpose is to punch holes in the ±Û
Û± taxation system of our goverment. Therefore, paying ±Û
Û± taxes-- property tax or otherwise, would be a conflict ±Û
Û± of interest, because he would therefore be funding a ±Û
Û± system he is attempting to sink. He goes to court, ±Û
Û± loses and is told he needs to pay astronomical amount ±Û
Û± in back taxes. ±Û
Û± He boards himself in his house where he stock piles ±Û
Û± guns, food, ammo and whatever else because he refuses ±Û
Û± to pay the taxes and awaits the feds coming to raid his ±Û
Û± home. He garners the support of militia groups across ±Û
Û± the country. That's all true. ±Û
Û± Where the song begins, the militia members are waiting ±Û
Û± around for the feds to raid (which won't ever happen) ±Û
Û± and start watching contemporary movies that their kids ±Û
Û± have downloaded off the net and given them including ±Û
Û± Jim Carrey's 23, the new Ghost Rider, the Devil Wears ±Û
Û± Prada eventually the new Diehard movie, which is the ±Û
Û± only thing that they seem to be able to agree on. ±Û

Û± Inspired by some books I was reading on Genghis Kahn, ±Û
Û± Tread took a whole new form when I had a dream that my ±Û
Û± lyrics about the conqueror changed to Bruce Campbell ±Û
Û± being dress up as Elvis (i.e. Bubba Ho-Tep) flying back ±Û
Û± to Earth from outer space in an Elvis-head shaped ±Û
Û± meteor to reclaim his place as the king of rock and ±Û
Û± roll. In some parts of the dream he was 8 feet tall and ±Û
Û± in some parts he was 80 feet tall). He lands on Earth ±Û
