Following a sensational year in 2008, which saw the band supporting Radiohead and Paul Simon in the US (becoming Radiohead guitarist Jonny Greenwood’s "favourite band in the world") and performing on Letterman, Grizzly Bear returned with a breathtaking album, blending lush orchestral flourishes and a strong sense of melodic pop hooks with captivating and often immediate indie folk. The album, 'Veckatimest', has now sold over 20,000 copies in the UK and has hit the 100,000 mark in the US.
The record will now be re-released as a special edition featuring a bonus disc with seven breathtaking live tracks recorded for various sessions around the world, including 'Two Weeks' and 'While You Wait For The Others' recorded in the BBC's Maida Vale studios for Radio 1. The special edition comes in an O-card with a 24 page photo booklet.
